West Hills Alumni Alexa Evans to Compete at USA Junior Track and Field Championships

Representing SDSU, Evans will compete in the discus throw on Friday.

SDSU freshman and alumni will compete at the USA Junior Outdoor Track & Field Championships Friday in Bloomington, Indiana.

Representing SDSU, Evans will compete in the discus throw on Friday. She qualified for the competition with a mark of 160 feet, 1 inch.

Top performers will be part of the American team that will compete in Spain in July in the IAAF World Junior Championships.

Her high school sports career included 61 wins, three conference titles, and setting the West Hills record for discus.
