West Hills Senior Emily Cole Selected for All-CIF Girls Basketball Team
She was the only Santee high school athlete to be honored amongst the best 132 players in the county.
West Hills High School senior Emily Cole was honored Tuesday by being named to the All-CIF girls basketball team, on a roster with some of the best players in the county.
132 Athletes in six winter sports earned first or second team honors in a list released by the San Diego Hall of Champions on Tuesday.
Cole will appear on the second team due to her amazing statistics for the season- 389 total points, an average of 14.4 points a game, she made 78 percent of free throws, the highest stats in East County, and scored the most three-point shots in East County (beating the next best by 25 baskets), at 59 for the season.

Cole also made the first 2012-13 All-East County team, which is a selection of the best Eat County players made by East County Sports.com. Cole also made the East County top players lists based on statistics for each category. She also made last year's All-CIF team.
No other athletes from West Hills or Santana High Schools made the list.
