Farmers Market Fresh: Late Spring Produce is Popping

The squash blossoms are bright, the radishes, carrots and turnips are piled high, and the is more active than any other time of year- life in Santee is good!

A couple new vendors are at the market as well. Embrace Sweets, "home of the world's most decedant brownies," and endorsed by Rachel Ray, has some delicious brownies, cookies and other baked goods- just look at the photo of the kids salivating on the glass. Expect a video interview with them soon.

Another recent newcomer is Filipino Foods, simply enough named. They have some tasty (Filipino spring rolls). Will review their wares soon as well.
