Hundreds came for a great show and fun in the sun and to help Aileen's Islanders Relay for Life team earn some funds for the American Cancer Society.
was on Sunday at the Relday for Life Luau Fundraiser helping Aileen's Islanders team earn donations for and the American Cancer Society.
The event featured music and dance from the Halau O' Makani Kai Polynesian Dance Troupe, a whole roasted pig and other Island specialties from Da Kines catering.

, Casey Maynard, and last year's Miss Santee, , greeted folks as they walked in with a lei and a photo- cancer survivors were honored with a purple lei.

Relay for Life is a community fundraising event for the American Cancer Society, and is coming back to Santee for 24 hours on June 2-3 to "celebrate people who have cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease."
The event is open to everyone and packs a lot of fun, inspiration, information, love and more into 24 hours. Last year's had , raised over $62,000 and welcomed over 100 cancer survivors of all ages.
