Join at a free one day workshop on leadership skills, community change process, youth action and advocacy, Tuesday, August 28, 2:30-6 p.m. at the , at , near Lake 5.
Young, energetic professionals and volunteers will lead communications, action research, and team building activities. Youth will discuss the role that play in Santee. Learn how youth-led change can shape the future of their community.
Become a part of this new youth movement for positive change. Our projects meet high school community service requirements, and help foster professional development. Together, we can help build a bright future for Santee’s teens.
A member of SY4S will be given the “Youth Advocate of the Year Award” from the California Youth Advocacy Network. In addition, there will be a special presentation to current Santee Youth 4 Solutions members in recognition for their efforts in the past year from a representative of California State Senator Joel Anderson’s office.
Snacks will be provided to all participants.
