Vote For Santee Santas, Help Them Win $5,000

The "Mission Possible Charity Challenge" is offering serious money for a local charity, and Santee's most jolly nonprofit is looking for your vote.

, in conjunction with Clear Channel Broadcasting, is sponsoring the 2012 “Mission Possible Charity Challenge,” wherein $5,000 will be donated to the winning charity- and is already nominated.

Voting starts today, March 1 and runs through March 28. Santee Santas Foundation is already in the running and you may vote once a day during the voting period. You do not need to be a member of Mission Federal Credit Union to participate, but you do need to “Like” Mission Federal on Facebook.  A copy of the official rules is attached.

If you recall, had a 22% increase in recipients in 2011 and our donations were very low, and we anticipate 2012 to be no different.  We could sure use the $5,000 donation this year!

I have already voted for Santee Santas Foundation, Inc. this morning and the voting is easy.  Click here to gain access.  The “Charity Challenge” page will come up and first, you will need to “Like” MFCU on Facebook (if you do not have a facebook account you can create one at this point); once you have done this, you will need to click on the “Charity Challenge” tab on the left side of the page to open the charity voting window.  Once there, just click on the down arrow in the charity listing and scroll down to Santee Santas Foundation, Inc. and click to select.  That’s all there is to the voting.

Remember, the winner will be the nonprofit with the most votes, so vote daily – it only takes a few minutes to help support this organization. Please pass this on to all your family and friends and ask them to vote – every vote helps.

Also, in case you had not heard, Santee Santas Foundation won the offered by on January 18, 2012.  This was due to all you out there going on their site and voting for us.

Can't send messages to Dad because he's now deceased, but my dad was very wise...He'd say thingsRead More like: "You can get arrested for what you say, but not what you think!" - or - "Take care of your feet, and they'll take care of you!" My dad wasn't much for words, but he was always a stable figure growing up and was loyal to mom throughout the years. Nowadays, that in and of itself is honorable! Thank you Dad! In Loving Memory...
