I’ve been working out with Kari for about 6 months. From the very beginning she has taken the time to learn what I need, offering lots of support and encouragement. Kari is very knowledgeable about fitness and is always coming up with new exercises to challenge me. I love having the one-on-one time with her. She’s very focused on helping people improve their health, making exercise enjoyable and bringing out the best in others. If you’re looking for quality time in a nice gym with a good range of equipment I would highly recommend Empower Fitness.

Kari is an awesome trainer! I have been working out with her for several months now and have gained incredible strength and have dramatically improved my overall conditioning.

What I love most about working out with Kari is that she is innovative--I have never done the same combination of exercises twice. She mixes up each session so that you'll never get bored and will consistently see results. Moreover--she knows her stuff; she doesn't just throw together a "one-size-fits-all" type of workout routine, she uniquely tailors each workout to meet YOUR specific goals.

The empower fitness studio is clean but warm and inviting. It's great to work out one on one with someone without the distractions of a gym type setting, as you can get the full-on focus of the trainer and you don't feel intimidated.

Kari's approach to fitness is no-nonsense, no frills, no complicated regimens--just what WORKS--rock-solid training, a super fun and personal environment, and motivation!
