Grossmont Adult School Health Occupations Center

<p>The Health Occupations Center is part of the Grossmont Union High School District's Adult Education School network. It specializes in healthcare-related classes for adults age 18 and over.</p> <p>The Grossmont Adult Education School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.</p> <p>The mission of the Adult Education School is "to provide high-quality, affordable, lifelong educational opportunities and services for adults, addressing the educational needs of a diverse population in an era of rapid technological, economic and social change."</p> <p>The Health Occupations Center provides classes for the following therapeutic services: Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Emergency Medical Technician - Refresher, Intravenous Therapy, Pharmacy Technician, Refresher/Reentry Update Education for Nurses, Vocational Nursing.</p> <ul> </ul> <p>It also offers classes for the following medical support services: Coding-CPT/ICD9 (Introductory), English and Math Review, Healthcare Interpreting, Home Health Aide, Medical Assistant/Clinical, Medical/Dental/Optical Billing Clerk, Medical Receptionist and Insurance Forms, Medical Terminology, Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aide</p> <ul> </ul>
