<p>The tradition of cooking delicious barbeque started with Joe as a young man in Mississippi. Joe helped his grandmother (An American Indian) and mother Katie prepare beef, pork, poultry and fish by rubbing blends of herbs and spices, then finishing by basting the meat with a secret sauce.</p> <p>Guests enjoy the fun atmosphere and the rich, savory aroma that greets them when they walk through the door. With indoor and outdoor seating, it is a great spot for families. They feature a seniors' night on Tuesday and a Diner's Club Pig Pickin' Club the third Saturday of the month with Smokin' Joe himself.</p>
