I think you are forgetting about Cheney and Scooter Libby trying to do their CYA act. Even Bush wouldn't condone what Cheney and Libby did in outing a CIA agent for political reasons. Afghanistan would have been over long ago if Bush and company hadn't diverted its attention to Iraq.

Yes the Iraq war was a Republican thing, so I question where you get your news. Our fighting men and women that died, were injured or served in Iraq, did so because of the LIES of Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Rice. Think of how many innocent Iraqi citizens died because of those lies. We liberated no Iraqi communities from Taliban rule, and what we built in Iraq was to replace what we damaged or destroyed during "shock and awe". I suggest you research what lead up to Iraq war. We know 911 is why we went to Afghanistan, but Iraq had nothing to do with 911.

Perry Shipman was an extraordinary community leader and one of the first members of Preserve Wild…Read More Santee. Perry was also my Government teacher at Santana High School. Perry set a wonderful example by always treating people of differing views with respect. He believed in people and that individuals working together can accomplish great things for the community. I considered Perry to be the Grandfather of Santee. He was the person that most reminded me of my own Grandfather. Preserve Wild Santee would not have been as successful without Perry’s participation and support. I will miss his smile and compassionate spirit.
