Saw and heard this chase last night as it passed by Lake Murray and Navajo Road TWICE within a 5Read More minute period. The first time the suspect vehicle was heading west on Navajo then turned south (left) on Lake Murray. A few minutes later, the same car came by again, this time heading straight west on Navajo, at which time I counted 12 cruisers in pursuit, which all appeared to be SDSO (Sheriff's Department). I went to one of the public safety scanner websites and went to the live audio streaming of the local SDPD channel, and heard dispatcher advise SD Police units that it was a Sheriff's chase and to basically stand down. Made sense, given there were certainly enough units already involved in the chase...

Harsh Oil??? The lack of proof reading in online news stories these days is very unsettling.....youRead More couldn't even catch a typo in the headline! If you've ever seen the movie Idiocracy, we are in the beginning stages.

Harsh oil? I agree with Jason. The patch has gone down hill since all they do is post articles andRead More not write them anymore.

The fines need to be much more severe, $500 for not using "Hands Free Device" and $1,000Read More for texting. It is just like DUI, the Fines are not severe enough to discourage. How many lives do we need to lose because of Drunk Drivers and Cell phone use and texting, before we say enough? Majority of the time the Drunk Drivers never die or even sustain major injuries.

I think there needs to be a law that suspends the violators cell phone privileges. There should beRead More some kind of a notification to the cell phone provider that the law was broken and to suspend coverage for a certain amount of time. The violators should also continue to pay fines, but maybe increase the amount? Remember when we didn't have cell phones? They are convenient not a necessity!

Woo hoo! Let's hear it for SDGE management!! These are the same clowns who brought us Casa Azul, andRead More another lawsuit when they fired some poor honest broker who dared question that boondoggle. You can't make this stuff up. Just pay the bill. And let's all get ready to pay for the fire, too. Got to laugh. It's useless to cry.

Why does CalTrans pay for this and not the trash companies that allow trash to fall out of theirRead More trucks along the freeway? I have seen this a couple of times over the years and it is frustrating to follow a trash truck and watch it litter the highways.

I agree Brian, the Trash Collectors are the worst offenders.
