Jonnie Fox Flanagan is the Founder and Director of The Magnolia School of Etiquette and Protocol and a graduate of the prestigious American School of Protocol in Atlanta, GA.  Ms. Flanagan  was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana where she enjoyed exquisite dining at famous and fabulous restaurants such as Brennans, Arnauds, Commander’s Palace, Emeril’s and the original Ruth’s Chris Steak House during her 35 years in the South.

Before moving to San Diego, CA., her professional background included advertising and media relations in radio, television and print.  She served as Corporate Sales Manager for the New Orleans Saenger Performing Arts Theatre and as Executive Assistant with the  former NBA's New Orleans Jazz.  As Event Coordinator for the “25 Year New Orleans Jazz Reunion & Golf Tournament”, Ms. Flanagan produced and coordinated the reuniting of several NBA players, coaches, staff, and media – including Elgin Baylor, Gail Goodrich, Rich Kelly, Mel Counts, Aaron James and Butch van Breda Kolff – for a memorable weekend of golf,  dining and dancing at Chef Paul Prudhomme’s famous landmark “K-Paul’s Restaurant”.

In these highly publicized career fields, Jonnie was inspired by the traditional Southern hospitality, social graces and art of fine dining that permeates the uniquely historic and festive “City of New Orleans”.  "I have always been passionate about social and dining etiquette.  I wrote my high school term paper on the subject many years ago. Growing up in New Orleans was a wonderful place to be educated in social graces and southern hospitality”, says Jonnie.

To meet most school’s requirements, Jonnie is also Live Scan fingerprinted, TB Negative, and CPR/First Aid trained.
