Pat Launer
Pat Launer has been the voice of theater in San Diego for 25 years, the only regularly broadcast theater critic in town. For her work on TV, radio, online and in print, Pat has been honored with numerous writing awards, as well as an Emmy and a National Commendation from American Women in Radio and Television. She holds a Ph.D. from the City University of New York. Thirteen years ago, Pat created the Patté Awards for Theater Excellence, to celebrate local theater artists. The Women's International Center has named her a "Living Legacy."
