Business Updates: Italia Ristorante and Men's Wearhouse Closed, Grab & Go Opens

A prominent Italian eatery in Santee, Italia Ristorante and Bar on Carlton Hills Boulevard, closed their doors for good recently. A "for lease" sign sits in the front window. Rumor has it that the owners had been looking to sell the restaurant.
Other local shops to close in the last few months include Men's Wearhouse at Trolley Square and P&P Beads & More.
Santee has seen two electronic cigarette stores come to town recently- Vapure at 10769 Woodside Ave. and United Vape at 9157 Mission Gorge Rd, at the old P&P Beads site. United Vape has paper covering the front window and no sign of business operating yet.
Grab & Go Subs, Salads, Wraps and More finally opened a storefront at Trolley Square, more than six months after signs first went up at the old Quiznos site. A Sleep Number store also opened at Trolley Square over the summer.
Dudley's Bakery and Deli has set an opening date of Nov. 10 for their new Town Center location.
