In Santee, the American Cancer Society spreads awareness about its mission through the Relay For Life of Santee. This annual event brings the residents of Santee together for a 24 hour period to Celebrate cancer Survivors, Remember those who have lost their battle and Fight Back against the disease that takes too much from too many.
Last year alone, the Relay For Life of Santee honored 87 cancer survivors and raised over $55,000 for the fight against cancer.
The 2013 Relay For Life of Santee will take place on June 1-2 from 10am - 10am at Town Center Community Park.
