Help Friends of Santee's River Park guage and document the health of the River and River Park! This is a great opportunity to see the river and make a difference for its future. Under the guidance of a trained team leader, learn about invasive plants, use of handheld GPS units and collecting scientific date in the field. No experience required. We’ll Blitz the Santee river bed area on Saturday, April 7th from 9am-Noon. The meeting location will be Mast Park (9125 Carlton Hills Blvd Santee, CA 92071).

The dates and locations for RiverBlitz are:
- April 7 in Santee
- April 14 & 15 in Mission Valley
- April 21 & 22 Estuary and extended segments
All the surveys are scheduled from 9am-Noon. The last weekend, the 21st and 22nd we’ll cover anything we missed as well as the estuary.
