A stray dog that was pepper sprayed and stunned by a taser by El Cajon Animal Control in an attempt to catch it, got loose and was on the run in East County for a few days until it was caught in Santee Tuesday, according to a report by 10News (attached video is from before the dog was found in Santee).
The aggressive female Labrador/terrier mix was caught in an El Cajon yard over the weekend when it got loose from Animal Control.
Rescuers told 10News the female Labrador/terrier mix wandered from El Cajon to Santee, where it was spotted, captured and then taken to San Diego County Animal Services.
Four Paws rescue, run by Rebecca Stevens, caught the dog using a humane trap and treats.
