You should not use a realtor who has decided that renting is the right choice for his circumstancesRead More because he might be a crook. People never have financial setbacks like medical problems that Occupiers say are responsible for almost all bankruptcies so you have to check your financial planner's medical records before you hire him because he may be a crook too good thing the IRS stole 10 million of them medical records that is so that part will be easy. Brian Jones is a strategic defaulter and he's not financially successful Republicans can do anything they are amazing I bet Brian Jones can measure position and momentum at the same time! America is a democracy.

@ Komfort:You know the best compliment anyone ever paid me,was 32 years ago. Mr Byron Harlan calledRead More me "Disgustingly Well Informed" as his copy writer at KSDS radio, and KPBS news. I try to stay that way as a hobby. I think our TRUE life path and REAL actions speak for us,as to who we are as Humans and Patriots. It's unfortunate you have INTENTIONALLY missed the point here.

I never write stuff out of speculation. A California assemblyman gets about 95K salary a year, freeRead More airport parking, and $131 a day per diem. A conservative rough estimate is 130K per year. The loan balance was 240k,or a payment of $1200-1300 a month plus property tax, insurance and HOA in his case,so less than 2 grand a month. I never accused Mr Jones of anything illegal here. It's just that you would like someone more successful in his personal business/finances helping shape the financial future of this country, and state. Simple. He is probably a wonderful husband and father to his children,I don't question that. Like I said first. You would never go to a bankrupt financial planner to show you how to invest your money. I don't as a former "investment banker". Would you? I don't think so. Just like I would never use a 20 year veteran realtor who still rents. I don't and I am a realtor. Nothing personal. Just some clean business. Practicing what we preach is a big deal. Just some Facts. that's all. We still live in the best Democracy in the World.

Libi - Was the grand jury looking into Gas Tax issues? Your link doesn't sound like it. The gasRead More tax increase was passed by our elected representatives. Past comments by you indicate you don't drive much, so what is your issue? Or are you trying to be the SUPER NEGAHOLIC again?

This tax could amount to between $0.50 and $1.00 per fill-up, depending on your vehicle's appetiteRead More for fuel. Does this really impose a huge financial burden on most drivers? If, for sake of argument we say it does, then why haven't our roads cleared of massive trucks and SUVs since gas first cracked the $4/gallon barrier years ago? The fact is, an improvement of 3 mpg could easily save a typical driver ten or twenty times over the cost of this tax increase!

No drop down menus, just click the header links for more options. For story categories click newsRead More and look on the left hand column. I know the redesign will take a bit to get used to, but I really think it will be a better site for community engagement, and easier to use. Feel free to post your feedback to the redesign on the boards, I'll check it out and respond, but you might also send your feedback straight to Patch headquarters with this form- http://feedback.aol.com/rs/rs.php?sid=patch Engineers will be furiously tweeking the new site based on your suggestions.

this is why the battlefield has changed temporarily from the political arena to the Energy Arena.Read More Co Gen Tricks and the usual suspects are making their big money bet on two inevitable facts that will force the hand of the CPUC and CEC to place a new gas power plant somewhere in the area. 1) the Electric Vehicle Mandate. 2) voltage support (power factor) needed by the industrial wind and solar farms in the desert. There is more to what meets the eye with the aggressive push by the usual suspects to cover our open spaces in the East County with these poorly sited RE projects. More wind and solar farms means more gas power plants. There is only one way to fight the destruction of our open spaces, and that is with roof top solar, conservation, energy efficiency and community owned energy districts. The fisrt thing that needs to be done is the City of Santee exempt residential scale PV installs from needing a building permit. Australia, Germany and the State of Vermont do not require a Building Permit to install PV.

Well said Stephen! Knowledge is TRULY power! The fight is not over! Cogentrix is just onceRead More again playing their wait, wait, wait game in the public eye and playing their lobbying game behind closed doors.
