There is a site on Facebook called "Legends of Santee."  You can find it just by using the 'search for friends' box at the top. 

There are entries from long timers, great photographs, exchanging remembrances, etc. 

It's a lot of fun and you can contribute your own thoughts, questions, etc.  It's moderated by folks from the and volunteers from the Lakeside Historical Society.
