Cox Solutions Stores Accepting Nonperishable Food Donations for San Diego Food Bank's Summer Food Drive

Cox Communications is partnering with the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank, the largest hunger-relief organization in San Diego County, for the School’s Out, Hunger’s Not food drive to combat hunger this summer in San Diego County.

Nearly 230,000 school children in San Diego County live in low-income households and receive free or reduced-priced meals at school. During the summer months, families are faced with the challenge of providing healthy regular meals for their children who would normally receive breakfast and lunch at school.

Donations of healthy nonperishable food items such as low-sugar cereal, nut butters, vegetables, soup, pasta and canned tuna are needed to help fight hunger this summer.
