Sex After Age 60:Seniors group at La Mesa health library to learn about sex after age 60 on Wednesday, June 25

The Grossmont Healthcare District’s Dr. William C. Herrick Community Health Care Library, 9001 Wakarusa St. in La Mesa, will host a free senior discussion group program titled “The History of Sex: Sex After 60,” from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25. The public is invited to attend and RSVP is not required. The speaker will be Dr. Eric Z. Shapira, a clinical gerontologist.

 

The discussion on June 25 will include the history of sex, sex 101, dating, romancing and the importance of self-expression in your relationships. This informative talk will focus on the evolution of relationships and how sex is an important component of this process. Attendees will learn how to be intimate and be aware of their ability to use empathic communication for ultimate happiness.

The Herrick Library, which opened in 2002, is a consumer health public library specializing in health research information, accessible both on-site and via the Internet.
