Cold Weather Predicted to Get Near Freezing Overnight

Frost and near freezing temperatures are expected overnight in Santee.

The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory that is in affect in San Diego County from 11 p.m. Tuesday to 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Due to clear skies and low humidity, the overnight low in Santee is predicted to hit 35, just above freezing, according to the NWS.

The frost advisory means that frost is possible, and the NWS suggest you cover your sensitive outdoor plants and keep pets inside.

The weather should warm up a few degrees on Wednesday, with a high near 66 and a low around 37.
