Mission Gorge Repaving
Those who travel on Mission Gorge to get in and out of Santee will have noticed that the roadway on City of San Diego land is getting a new layer of asphalt. Minimal traffic delays are expected, and striping has yet to be done, so be extra careful.
The lane into Santee was paved first, and the lane out is being done next. It also appears that the initial three lanes on the road into town is being changed to two lanes for the entire stretch.
Patch Costume Contest Winner

Wish her luck as Heidi Klum chooses the national grand winner this week. Patch will whisk the national winner to New York or Los Angeles for a three-day, two-night trip for two that includes a meet and greet with Heidi, plus a donation of $1,031 to a local charity of the winner's choice. Nine runners up will also get a $1,031 donation from Patch to a local charity of their choice.
