See what cats and dogs are up for adoption this month at the El Cajon Animal Shelter.
The El Cajon Animal Shelter houses stray or relinquished pets found within the city limits of El Cajon and La Mesa. Animals not claimed by their owners are placed up for adoption to the general public.
It is the public animal shelter closest to Santee.
The shelter is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
