Last week was a rush of events, this week, not so much, but there's always something to do around Santee:

• Another Special Council Meeting has been called for Monday night at 7 p.m. The Council will be putting the finishing touches on assigning redevelopment and other projects.

• The will be meeting publicly on Tuesday afternoon.

• - The club holds an evening mixer the second Thursday of the month.

• - The San Diego Astronomy Association hosts an evening of stargazing the second Friday of each month. Telescopes are provided.

• Members of a gather to practice and play a variety of flutes the second Sunday of the month at the Visitor Center Amphitheater.

• - Follow a moderate 2.5-mile trail through lands still recovering from the 2003 Cedar Fire.

• Santee Based Bella Luna Educational Foundation Presents The , Saturday.
