Santee's farm-to-table Roots Community Kitchen is holding an afternoon of local food tasting with Slow Food Urban San Diego, raising funds for local organic 4H student projects.
Chefs will prepare tasty bites from Berkshire pork and local veggies, paired with craft beer and wine from area producers.
The pig was raised organically by a local 4H student and Slow Food Urban San Diego will use the proceeds from this event to support organics in future 4H projects and collaborations in San Diego County.
Event cost: $30 (includes one drink ticket - additional $5 drink tickets available at event)
