Gas Prices
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose today for the 15th consecutive day, increasing 1.5 cents to $3.705.

The average price is 7.6 cents more than both one week ago and one month ago and 35.3 cents higher than a year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price has increased 17.3 cents over the past 15 days, including 2 cents on Thursday.

The average price fell 42 times in the 43 days immediately preceding the current streak of increases.
"Gas prices are increasing by more than a penny a day in most Southern California areas," said Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California.
"Prices are just 30 cents below $4 a gallon. It is difficult to say whether or not this pace will continue and bring $4-plus price averages in the next month."
