Santee Salutes: Fireworks and Fun

Santee's Fourth of July celebration was good times for all.

Monday's July Fourth celebration was a blast!

Entertainment included Santee favorites the and The Mighty Untouchables providing music, games, carnival rides, food vendors, a gymnastics show and all sorts of other family fun in the sun. The city estimates 8,000 people came out for the festivities.

"A Marine color guard, accompanied by Will Tisch who wore a Revolutionary War uniform, presented the U.S. flag and reminded everyone of what July Fourth represents," according to the Review (see pictures in media box).

A "" broke out in dance during the festivities, about 100 community members took part in the coordinated "impromptu" show.
