Q: How many teen pregnancies have occurred in Santee within the past year?
A: After a myriad of calls to county agencies, Santee Patch was able to connect with County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency Group Communications Officer Lisa Contreras. Although medical confidentiality prevents us from knowing the exact number of pregnancies occurring in teenage girls, what the County does track is the number of births to teen moms. Unfortunately, the 2010 data is not yet available.
