The blog What's Going on in Santee recently posted a video of City Councilmember Rob McNelis interviewing the owner/operators of the city's only commercial musical theater, Off Broadway Live.
Steve Rolf and Bob Schulze act as writers, producers, actors, stagehands and more in putting together productions for Off Broadway Live, which opened in Santee across from Town Center Park this spring.

"We write these shows for an adult date night, we encourage you to get a babysitter for the kids and take the wife/girlfriend out," the duo told What's Going on in Santee.
The shows are interactive with the crowd and feature music everyone knows the words to.
