Developer Paid $183,000 to Lobby for Castlerock and Other Projects

The developer the hotly contested Castlerock Project, which would bring about 1,000 residents, new land, and a new community to Santee, paid $183,000 to the downtown lobbying firm Sheppard Mullin to help secure approval for a list of projects, with Castlerock topping the list, according to a report published in the San Diego Reader.

Matt Potter's Under the Radar column lists seven projects for which Pardee Homes enlisted the help of the firm.
