The Santee Chamber of Commerce held an "After Five" Mixer last week at Off Broadway Live (OBL). What was once a Blockbuster has been remodeled to fulfill the dream of Bob Schulze & Steve Rolf to bring live musical theater to East County San Diego.
The low lighting, intimate seating and good music that makes for a great date night location also worked well for business networking.
OBL opened at Santee's Town Center this spring and just debuted their second original show.
“The Dance” opened at OBL July 12 and will run for 6 weekends, shows on Friday & Saturday at 7:30 pm. and two Sunday Matinees at 3 p.m. The story begins at the High School Prom and ends at the 25 Year High School Reunion and is about two friends and their individual pursuit love and happiness as they learn about the “dance” of life each must go through.
