Chamber of Commerce Releases First Issue of The Santee Magazine

Sportsplex graces the cover of the new magazine that replaces the Special Edition Echo publication.

The new Santee Magazine, a publication of the , should have hit your doorstep by now (if you live in Santee).

"I hope you'll find The Santee Magazine entertaining and relevant as we introduce you to some of the people and businesses that make Santee such a great place to live," wrote Executive Director in his Editor's notepad introduction to the magazine.

Two issues are planned for 2012, the first previews the coming up at the end of May, and the second will be released a week before the in October. A two-page map of the Street Fair is included in the middle of the first issue (also attached).

The cover story looks at the success of in Santee and the family behind the business. Other stories include a history of Gillespie Field, previews of upcoming events, information, a review of Starry Lane Bakery, and much more.
