My "Hot Pick" for this week is the listing on 10901 Easthaven Ct. At $208.01 a square foot, this well maintained home is a pretty good deal. This model is a split level home that can put some perspective buyers off, while at the same time providing an "out of the norm" floor plan for others to admire.

If we look at all of the detached homes currently on the market in Santee, the average asking price is $257.25 per square foot. But if you look at just the homes that have listed in the last two weeks alone, that number jumps rapidly to $289.49 per square foot.

There have been 37 detached homes that have closed escrow in the last 30 days in Santee. Using all of them together we get an average of $236.14 per square foot in that same time frame. However if we just use the sales from the last week, that price per square foot goes to $269.33.
