East County Live Well Expo and Community Safety Fair

A two-day event celebrating healthy living for all lifestyles. October 18-9 at Sonrise Church.

The East County Live Well Expo and Community Safety Fair is a two-day event celebrating healthy living for all lifestyles. Door prizes, local VIPs, fitness demos, bike rodeo, Food U, fun family activities, FREE to the public!

Day one will include an opening ceremony featuring Congressman Duncan Hunter,County Supervisor Dianne Jacob, and the inspirational story of Chappie Hunter, a local police officer who lost his leg in an accident and continues to do an intense work out.

Day two will feature a Community Safety Fair put on by the Santee Fire Department with tours of emergency vehicles and kids activities, a Zumba party with Crunch Fitness, Food U  with healthy cooking demos and snack tasting, bicycle rodeo with the Sheriff's Department, dance and martial arts performances, therapeutic laughing class, fitness events and more.
