Matthew T. Saadeh Wins a 'Stay and Play Package' at the Newly Remodeled Carlton Oaks Golf & Resort

Matthew T. Saadeh won a Santee Patch contest that will get him a "Stay and Play" package at Carlton Oaks Golf & Resort that includes a one night stay at the newly remodeled lodge, dinner and a round of golf, for two people.

Carlton Oaks (9200 Inwood Dr.) just completed their first phase of a remodel which includes 52 new lodge rooms with Casitas for family or bigger group, a new pool area, lobby, wedding sites, the Oaks Bar & Grill and 18 new greens on their championship golf course.

A Grand Opening event for the remodel will be held June 9 from noon to 4 p.m. at Carlton Oaks. The celebration will include tours of the new facility, $45 golf all day, a BBQ and clam bake, kids activities like a rock wall, bounce house and slide, face painting and balloon artist, popcorn and cotton candy, a mechanical bull (for the kid inside you), dunk tank, live music, raffles, and other games. It will be a day of fun for the whole family. Much of the proceeds will be donated to victims of the recent Oklahoma tornado.
