River Cleanup at Fashion Valley 1/22/11- 9am-Noon
The San Diego River Park Foundation's Clean and Green Team is poised to strike again! Cleaning up our river is fashionable! Join us as we continue to clean up our river on January 22nd from 9am-Noon. This time we'll be in Fashion Valley in the south east lot under the trolley tracks. Our river trash survey teams have identified several sites loaded with trash and debris that must be removed from the river before it washes down to the ocean. Please help us to provide a garbage-free habitat for the plants and animals that call the river home.

Volunteers will meet in the south east dirt parking lot of Fashion Valley Mall. We provide all tools and supplies. Please make sure to dress in clothes that can get a little dirty and wear sturdy, closed shoes. Please, no sandals or open shoes.
Helping our river is a fun and meaningful activity for good groups and families and great way to get out into nature.
