Events Benefitting Santee Santas This Month: Fill the Truck, CA Christmas, Stuff the Barn

December has arrived and it is time for Santee Santas annual Holiday Food and Toy Drive to kick into high gear!

Santee Santas' signature effort is an annual holiday children's toy and food program focused on bringing the Christmas spirit to more than 300 local families with a large box of food and toys for the kids. Their senior outreach program also ensures Santee's many elderly who are living alone or in senior care facilities are not forgotten over the holidays.

There are donation boxes for toys and non-perishable food at businesses and other locations across Santee. To see the list of donation box locations, click here.

Previous events held this year that benefitted the organization included the 2nd Annual Waddle & Trot Thanksgiving Day 5K Run and the Santee Santas Foundation's 60th Anniversary Luau. 

Santee Santas is an all-volunteer organization, with school district employees, City of Santee staff, firefighters, local businesses, service organizations, mobile home parks and local citizens working together to make each year's endeavors successful. Santee Santa volunteers have served the community for the past sixty years! There are minimal administrative costs; all donations are tax deductible and all donations are used to assist families and seniors in need of help.
