Lorna Diann Hook, longtime employee of the Santee School District, died suddenly on December 13, 2013, according to her U-T San Diego obituary. She was 71.
Born in San Diego, she graduated from Lincoln High in 1960. Lorna married George Kenneth Hook in 1962 and they had two children.
She worked as a records clerk for the Santee School District for 32 years, and was a member of the Red Hat Society.
A memorial will be held Jan. 18 at 9:30 a.m. at Foothills Christian Church, 365 W. Bradley Ave., El Cajon. The family asks that you "wear your brightest colors, bring your biggest smiles, and your favorite Lorna stories!"
