$50,000 Reward Offered for Arrest of Letter Carrier Robbers

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for robbing an letter carrier on the 2400 block of Fletcher Parkway in El Cajon last week. 

The robbery occurred on Wednesday, November 27, at about 5:05 p.m. 

Two suspects were both described as 25-30 year old caucasian males, with medium build, about 5’11”, 160 lbs. One had a tear drop tattoo under his left eye and was wearing a long sleeved dark colored shirt, dark shorts, black knee high socks and black shoes, and the other had full sleeve tattoos on both arms and was wearing a white SO CAL t-shirt, shorts, and black shoes (see surveillance photos).

Robbery of a United States Letter Carrier is a federal crime, and offenders may be imprisoned for up to ten years.

If you have information about this crime, call Postal Inspectors at 877-876-2455 (press 2), and refer to Case No. 2009378. Postal Inspectors warn customers not to approach suspicious individuals. Instead, try to note their physical appearance and any related vehicle. Callers may remain anonymous.
