Burglar Accused of Stealing Jewelry From Santee Senior Citizen is Caught

A man arrested in Temecula sits behind bars for alleged burglaries of senior citizens in Santee and around San Diego.

detectives along with Riverside Sheriff's deputies arrested Joshua David Nicholes, 20, in Temecula on Wednesday for allegedly burglarizing senior citizens in Santee, Chula Vista, and Rancho Bernardo.

The Sherriff's Department accuses Nicholes and an unidentified male of going to on Mission Gorge Road in Santee and using a ruse to enter a resident's home and .

Sheriff's personell served a search warrant at Margarita Road in Temecula, CA, arrested Nicholes and booked him into the San Diego Central Jail for the alleged burglary. His bail is set at $35,000 and his arraignment is scheduled for Friday afternoon at the El Cajon Courthouse.
