Suspect Sought in Convenience Store Robbery

The Circle K on Willow Road was robbed early Saturday morning by a man with a gun. The Sheriff's Department is investigating.

A convenience store on Willow Road was robbed at gunpoint early Saturday morning, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

A suspect entered the Circle K in the 12300 block of Willow Road just after 3 a.m., approached the cash register and demanded money from an employee while brandishing a handgun, according to Sgt. Dave Martinez.

The employee handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect left in an unknown direction. The suspect was described as a black male, between 20 and 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall or taller, around 170 pounds. He was wearing a dark-colored beanie, a dark bandanna, a baggy white T-shirt, black gloves and blue jeans.
