Sheriff's Dept. Releases Wanted Flyer for Suspect in Santee Shooting

An early morning shooting leaves one man in critical condition with a shot to the head, and the Sheriff's Dept. needs your help finding the suspect.

The Sheriff’s Deptartment Homicide Detail wants your help in finding a man wanted in connection with a shooting at a Santee home Friday morning that left a man in critical condition. 

A photo of the suspect, Joseph Hall, AKA Happy, and his wanted flyer is attached to this story.

Gunfire in the 10000 block of Prospect Avenue was reported shortly after 5 a.m., sheriff's homicide Lt. Larry Nesbit said.

Medics airlifted the victim, whose name was withheld pending family notification, to a San Diego hospital for treatment of a bullet wound to the head. He was admitted in critical condition and was placed on life support, according to Nesbit.

Investigators questioned the 41-year-old victim's sister, who told them she was taking a shower at the time of the shooting, and the woman's adult son, KGTV reported.
