Lakeside Man Arrested for Alleged Series of East County Burglaries
A Lakeside man accused of carrying out a series of brazen daytime burglaries in an East County neighborhood is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday.
Shane Michael Greisofe, 25, was arrested Monday outside a gas station in the 700 block of Mollison Avenue in El Cajon shortly before 11 a.m., sheriff's Sgt. Tom Poulin said.
Greisofe is suspected in a series of at least a dozen "brazen" break- ins at homes in the unincorporated East Los Coches area near Lakeside in the last three months, according to Poulin. All the crimes occurred during the morning or early afternoon hours, he said.
Greisofe was booked into county jail on suspicion of burglary, grand theft, possession of a controlled substance and other offenses.
