Santee Crime Report: July 18-24

The following information was provided by the Santee Sheriff's Department mainly for July 18-24. The defendants have not been convicted of a crime.

• Eric Lackey, 35, was arrested on suspicion of battery after deputies were called to the 8700 block of Dawn Court on the morning of July 24, according to a repors at the Santee station of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department. The victim was not injured. He was booked into  County Jail in downtown San Diego on a misdemeanor allegation. 

• The city of Santee reported t$5,000 worth of vandalism to three pieces of property in the 500 block of Park Center Drive on the night of July 23. No further details or description of the damage was included in the summary report.  The city reported $1,000 in vandalism two items in a separate incident in the 9500 block of Cuyamaca Street. No suspect information was listed. 

• Deputies arrested a man on felony drug possession after stopping him at Mast Boulevard and Magnolia Park drive shortly after 1 a.m. on July 23. Lyle Nester, 18, was also booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego on suspicion of using a controlled substance.

• A 26-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of battery after a disturbance was reported in the 1300 block of Calabria Street on the morning of July 22. Nicole Kinsler was booked into the Las Colinas women's jail in Santee. The victim had a minor injury, according to a report. 

• Ben Giles, 29, was arrested on suspicion of felony drug possession after deputies were called to investigate a report of a suspicious person at Carlton Hills Boulevard at Mast Boulevard on the night of July 21. Giles was booked into County Jail. Mark Wilson, 30, was cited on misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia in the same incident, according to a report.

• An unidentified juvenile was booked into Juvenile Hall on suspicion of misdemeanor assault following a reported disturbance in the 10100 block of Corkwood Avenue on the night of July 21. The victim in the incident was not injured, according to a report. 

• Richard Gunner, 18, was arrested on suspicion of carjacking on the night of July 20 in the 9900 block of north Magnolia Avenue after deputies were called to investigate a suspicious person. He was booked into County Jail. The 30-year-old victim was not injured, according to a report. 

• A juvenile was arrested on suspicion of burglary at the Kohls, 9400 Mission Gorge Road, on the afternoon of July 19. The juvenile was detained on a felony and authorities recovered ore than $300 worth of goods in the incident. 

• A 50-year-old man was beaten in the 9100 block of Carlton Hills Boulevard on the afternoon of July 15. The victim sustained a severe cut in the incident. No suspect information was included in the report. 

• An 18-year-old man was arrested on a probation violation following an alleged assault in the 9400 block of Mission Gorge Road on the afternoon of July 21. Justus Hayes was taken into custody on a probation violation, according to a report. 

• Scott Wolfe, 30 was arrested on a felony vandalism allegation after allegedly damaging a vehicle owned by a 60-year-old woman in the 8800 block of north Magnolia Avenue shortly after 6 p.m. on July 20. He was booked into County Jail in downtown San DIego. 

• Deputies arrested a 43-year-old man on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon in the 10700 block of Woodside Avenue on the night of July 19. Christopher Ackerman, 43, is accused of assault two people in their 20s. They were not injured, according to the report. He was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego on the felony allegation, according to a report. 

• A 41-year-old man reported being the victim of an armed robbery in the 10800 block of Prospect Avenue on the night of July 19.

• The victim reported the loss of a wallet, knife, automotive parts, hand tools and other items valued at more than $300,000. No suspect information as reported and the 

• A 42-year-old woman was arrested on a misdemeanor battery allegation after a victim, whose name was not divulged, reported an incident in the 9400 block of Stoyer Drive on the night of July 20. Ann Marie Cardwell  was booked into the Las Colinas women's jail in Santee.

• Toron Ceaser, 34, was arrested on suspicion of battery in the 8600 block of Graves Avenue on the night of July 19. He was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego. The victim sustained a minor injury, according to a report. 

 • A 20-year-old man was arrested after allegedly battering a woman and vandalizing her vehicle in the 8600 block of Fanita Drive on the night of July 19. Hector Felix is accused of vandalizing a red four-door sedan and injuring the 22-year-old victim, both felonies, and misdemeanor being under the influence.

• Mark Williams, 54, was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant after deputies were called to investigate a report of suspicious circumstances in the 500 block of Park Center Drive on the morning of July 19. 

• A 61-year-old man reported being the victim of a credit fraud case in the 7400 block of Mission Gorge on the afternoon of July 18. An estimated $26,000 in property was reported lost in the report.

• Deputies booked a 34-year-old man into County Jail after he was allegedly caught shoplifting at the Walmart on the morning of July 18. Jess Delgado was arrested on a felony allegation of petty theft with a prior jail term. An estimated $30 in food, books and electronic items was reportedly recovered.

• A couple reported being victimized in a fraud case that resulted in the theft of more than $37,000 in the 7400 block of Mission Gorge Road on the morning of July 16. The victims also reported the loss of two checks. No suspect information was listed.

• Deputies arrested a juvenile on suspicion of assaulting a 57-year-old female following a disturbance reported on the evening of July 18 on the 8700 block of Wahl Street. The juvenile was also booked into Juvenile Hall on a curfew violation as well. The victim was not injured, according to the report. 

• A 25-year-old woman was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant in the 8900 block of River Valley Court on the morning of July 18. Samantha Sanchez, 25, was booked into the Las Colinas women's jail in Santee.  

• A juvenile was detained on a curfew violation in the 9600 block of north Magnolia Avenue shortly after 4 a.m. on July 18. The juvenile, whose name was not released, was also detained on suspicion of resisting arrest before being released shortly before 5 a.m. The incident is being handled within the department, according to a report. 

• Nick Santoro, 27, was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant in the 11000 block of Columbus Street on the morning of July 17. He was booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego.

• Deputies cited a 79-year-old man on suspicion of solicitation on the 100 block of Town Center Parkway on the evening of July 7. James Antale, 79, was cited under a Santee municipal code making it illegal to harass a person in public to solicit money or goods. He was released after the citation was issued, according to a report. 

• Deputies cited a man on suspicion of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and a juvenile was cited on a curfew violation shortly after midnight on July 5 in the 9700 block of Mission Gorge Road. The adult, Steven Caton, 18, was released after being issued a signed promise to appear. The juvenile's name was not released. 

Residential burglaries or grand thefts from buildings classified as felonies with items stolen valued at $1100:

  • Nexon Corporation, 8100 block of Arlette Street on the morning of July 18.  

Petty theft, items stolen from buildings  valued at $156 to $700

  • 10300 Carefree Drive on the morning of July 19
  • 8700 block of Mesa Roadc on the evening of July 15.

Vehicle burglaries with items stolen valued at more than $400 (grand theft) or classified as felonies reported  at:

  • 600 block of Park Center Drive on the morning of July 24. 
  • 6000 block of Cala Lily Street on the morning of July 18.
  • 200 block of Town Center Parkway on the afternoon of July 19.

Vehicle burglaries with items  stolen valued at less than $400 (petty theft) reported at:

  • 11100 block of Larkridge Street on the morning of July 20.

Vehicle vandalism:

  • 9300 block of Fanita Parkway on the morning of July 24. Damage estimated at $600 to a black station wagon.
  • 9900 block of Magnolia Park on the night of July 18. Damage set at $1,000 to a gray,m four-door sedan.
