Santee Crime Report: March 5-21

The following information was provided by the Santee Sheriff's Station. The suspects have not been convicted of a crime.

DUIs:

March 3, Mission Greens Rd. and Mission Viejo Ct., 62 year-old

March 4, Mast Blvd. and Magnolia Ave., caused bodily injury, victim 32 years old, suspect 36 years old

A residential burglary was reported in the 8100 block of Mesa Rd. 27 items with a combined value of about $6,000 were reported stolen.

A petty theft of $25 worth of gas was reported at Budget Truck Rental.

Thursday, March 8

Friday, March 9

A burglary/hot prowl was reported in the 9600 block of Ramsgate Way. Athletic equipment worth an estimated $2,800 was reported stolen.

Monday, March 12

A vehicle burglary was reported in the 100 block of Rock Glen Way. Four items were reported stolen, worth about $3,000.

A grand theft was reported in the 8300 block of Bishoff Ct. at Select Electric. $1,600 worth of items of were reported stolen.

A petty theft was reported at 9100 Tonya Lane. $200 worth of auto parts were reported stolen.

A report of "threatening crime with intent to terrorize" was made in the 9900 block of Mission Gorge Road. There were two victims, age 22 and 27, and one suspect arrested, age 29, and sent to San Diego Central Jail.

Fraud was reported at Custom Wheel Industries, with more than $1,000 in wheels taken without payment.

Thursday, March 15

An armed robbery was reported in the morning hours on the 11300 block of Woodside Avenue, $14 was stolen.

Friday, March 16

Tools valued at $1,500 were stolen in a residential burglary in the 9700 block of Vamac Road.

A burglary from a vehicle was reported on Olive Lane, a $400 camera was reported stolen.

A commercial burglary was reported at the Town Center . A 33-year-old was arrested for an alleged $150 in stolen merchandise and sent to .

Sunday, March 18

A shoplifting was reported at . Two juveniles were arrested for allegedly stealing 24 items valued at more than $1,000.

Vandalism was reported at HTI, the and an environmental cleanup of the area. Damage to the vehicles is estimated to cost about $20,000.

Monday, March 19

Vehicle vandalism was reported at Carlton Hills Boulevard at about 8 p.m. Damage was estimated at $500.

Power tools valued at $400 were reported stolen at the 9400 block of Mission Gorge Road.

A case of child abuse, specificall referred to as "sex crimes against a child," was reported in the 8300 block of Fanita Drive.

Tuesday, March 20

A commercial burglary was reported in the 10500 block of Kenney Street. Stolen items were valued at $2,600.

A stolen vehicle valued at $19,000 was reported in the 9700 block of Hinsdale Street.

Shoplifting was reported at Walmart. A 20-year-old was arrested for allegedly stealing a $65 camera.

Grand theft from a residence was reported in the 9200 block of Inwwod Drive. Stolen items were valued at more than $6,000.

Wednesday, March 21

An 18-year-old was arrested at the corner of Mesa Road and Mission Gorge Road for drug possession.
