Santee Crime Report: Sept. 19-25

The following information was provided by the Santee Sheriff's Department and CrimeMapping.com mainly for Sept. 19-25. The defendants have not been convicted of a crime.

According to reports available at the of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department as of September 26, 2011.  Unless otherwise noted, suspects placed under arrest were booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego. 

• A 26-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism after deputies were called to a disturbance in the 8400 block of Prospect Avenue shortly before 11 p.m. on Sept. 24. Cassandra Nunez is accused of damaging a silver station wagon valued at $15,000, according to a report.

• Deputies arrested a woman on an outstanding felony warrant after they were called to investigate a report of a suspicious person in the 9000 block of Cottonwood Avenue at 10:29 p.m. on Sept. 22. 

• A woman was arrested on a felony drug possession allegation after deputies contacted her during a traffic stop at 10200 Mast Boulevard at 11:08 p.m. Sept. 21. She was also booked on misdemeanor suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia.

• Two people were arrested on drug allegations after they were stopped by a deputy in the 10300 block of Mast Boulevard at 10:43 p.m. on Sept. 21. A woman, 33, was arrested on suspicion of two felonies; possessing drugs for sale, and drug possession. She was also booked on a misdemeanor of being under the influence. Jail records show she is being held at the Las Colinas women's jail in Santee on$12,500 bail, with a court appearance scheduled for Sept. 29.

• reported the theft of a $1,500 TV from their Town Center Parkway location shortly before 7 p.m. on Sept. 21. No suspect information was listed. In a separate case filed on Sept. 24 at 2:30 p.m., deputies arrested a 26-year-old man on misdemeanor petty theft. An estimated $52 in miscellaneous clothing was recovered, according a report.

• Two juveniles were detained on suspicion of loitering in the daytime at a place other than home or school at Carefree and Peaceful drives after deputies were called to the area at 1:12 p.m. on Sept. 20, according a report. They were released about 30 minutes later.

• An unidentified juvenile was arrested on suspicion of felony assault and misdemeanor vandalism after deputies were called to the 10000 block of Beck Drive at 6:22 p.m. on Sept. 18. The juvenile was accused of assaulting a 47-year-old woman who reported a minor injury, according to a report. The suspect, reportedly armed with some type of "lethal cutting instrument," was booked into Juvenile Hall. An estimated $500 damage was reported to a home.

• William Holmquist, 18, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and being under 21 while driving with alcohol in his system at 1:40 a.m. Sept. 11. The arrest was reported at El Nopal and Carreta Drive, according to a report.

• A man was arrested on suspicion of felony assault after deputies were called to the 9200  block of Shadow Hill Road at 10:10 p.m. on Sept. 19. He was also arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of drugs, a misdemeanor.

• Deputies arrested Kathryn Sanfilipoo, 24, on suspicion of felony burglary and being under the influence of drugs after they were called to , 9400 Mission Gorge Road, at 10:49 a.m. Sept. 14. She was booked into the women's jail in Santee. Also at the Kohl's on Sept. 19 at 4 p.m. in a separate case, Donald Connolly, 38, was arrested on suspicion of commercial burglary, felony theft with a prior, and a felony parole violation. An estimated $50 is miscellaneous clothing was recovered in that case.

  • 9400 block of Prospect Avenue at 8:43 p.m. on Sept. 22. 
  • 9100 block of Mission Gorge Road at 8:11 p.m. on Sept. 21. 
  • 9700 block of Mission Gorge Road at 10:38 a.m. Sept. 19.
  • 9200 block of North Magnolia Avenue at 10:09 p.m. Sept. 18.

  • 10700 Riderwood Terrace at 10:08 a.m. Sept. 24. Black four-door sedan, damage estimated at $650.
  • 9500 block of Mission Gorge Road at 7:42 a.m. Sept. 19. Red pickup, damage estimated at $200
