Santee Crime Report: Sept. 26 - Oct. 2

The following information was provided by the Santee Sheriff's Department and CrimeMapping.com mainly for Sept. 26 - Oct. 2. The defendants have not been convicted of a crime.

According to reports available at the Santee station of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department as of October 3, 2011.  Unless otherwise noted, suspects placed under arrest were booked into County Jail in downtown San Diego.

• A 28-year-old man identified as Ronald Mceuen was arrested at 2:51 a.m.
Oct. 1 on suspicion of felony drug possession following a traffic stop at
Carlton Oaks Drive at Carlton Hills Boulevard.

• , 9800 Mission Gorge Road, reported the loss of $276 in miscellaneous items in a shoplifting incident at 4:25 p.m. on Oct. 1. No
suspect information was reported.

• A 47-year-old man reported a violation of a court order in the 9900 block of Golden West Lane shortly after 6 p.m. on Sept. 30.

• , 9600 Mission Gorge Road, reported the theft of $7 in food items at 5:28 p.m. on Sept. 30.

• Judith Stevens, 56, was arrested on a felony battery complaint after deputies were called to the 9500 block of Mission Gorge Road shortly after 4 p.m. on Sept. 30. An unnamed victim reported a minor injury.

• Deputies issued a misdemeanor petty theft citation to Michell Brownell,
43, after they were called to the at 9400 Mission Gorge Road at
12:38 p.m. Sept. 30.  She was released after receiving the citation and an
estimated $48 in items were reported recovered in the case.

• A 38 year old male was cited on misdemeanor petty theft after deputies were called to the Wal Mart, 100 Town Center Parkway at 10:59 p.m. Sept. 30. She was released after signing a promise to appear.

• Deputies arrested Daniel Ray Hartnett, 30, on an outstanding felony
warrant after stopping him at 100 Town Center Parkway at 8:20 a.m. Sept.
30. Jail records show he is being held in County Jail in downtown San Diego on a drug possession charge, with bail set at $25,000. No court date
was scheduled at last report.

• An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of felony drug possession and misdemeanor being under the influence of drugs after a traffic stoop at Carlton Hills Boulevard and Pennywood Road at 2:28 a.m. Sept. 30.

• Joseph Allen Burzynsky, 25, was arrested on three felony drug allegations
following a traffic stop at 10100 Woodpark Drive shortly after 4 p.m. on
Sept. 29. Jail records show is being held on $50,000 bail pending an
arraignment scheduled for the afternoon of Oct. 3. The allegations
including transporting or sale of drugs, possession of "coke base" for
sale, and possession of drugs. In the same stop, deputies arrested Jake
Alexander, 25, on suspicion of felony drug possession and misdemeanor
possession of drug paraphernalia.

• An unnamed juvenile was arrested on suspicion of battery following a
complaint by a 51-year-old woman at 4:40 p.m. Sept. 28 in the 10000 block
of Flora Verda Court. The juvenile was booked into Juvenile Hall.

• Deputies arrested Michael Anthony Hernandez, 28, on an outstanding felony warrant in the 200 block of Kenney Street shortly after 8 am. on Oct. 2. Jail records show he is being held in County Jail in downtown San Diego
without bail for a parole violation and is ineligible for release.

• Four juveniles were detained after deputies were called to investigate a
complaint of loitering off-campus in the 9900 block of North Magnolia
Avenue shortly after 1 p.m. on Sept. 23. They were released after about 40
minutes and the matter is being handled internally, according to a report.

• An item described as "lethal cutting instrument" was sized from a
juvenile at school in the 9900 block of North Magnolia Avenue at 2:20 p.m.
on Sept. 23.  The juvenile, whose name was withheld, was released ten
minutes later, according to a report.

• Deputies are investigating a report of financial elder abuse after a
74-year-old woman reported the loss of $5,000 in miscellaneous goods in
the 8800 block of Buena Vista shortly after 3 p.m. Sept. 23. No suspect
information was listed.

• A 63 year old woman was arrested on suspicion of battery after deputies
were called to a disturbance at 10900 Grandfork Drive at 9:28 p.m. on
Sept. 27. No injuries were reported.

• Deputies called to investigate a report of an indecent exposure in the
8800 block of Cuyamaca Street shortly before 1 p.m. on Sept. 27 arrested a
40-year-old man on suspicion of possession hypodermics and resisting
arrest. According to jail records, the man, identified as Joseph Michael
Frankenberg, is ineligible for release and is being held in County Jail in
downtown San Diego. In addition to the above listed allegations, he is
charged with possessing drugs for sale. An appearance in El Cajon Superior
Court is scheduled for Oct. 28.

• A 53 year old male was cited on suspicion of petty theft after deputies were called to the Home Depot, 200 Town Center Parkway at 11:36 a.m. Sept. 26. About $20 worth of paint was reportedly recovered.

Stolen vehicle reports:

  • 10200 block of Timberlane Way at 8:17 a.m. on Sept. 27. Red and black motorcycle valued at $10,000. Reportedly has since been recovered.
  • Recovery of a reported stolen vehicle at 10100 block of El Nopal, 1:04 p.m. Sept. 26. Blue and white pickup valued at $2,000.

Residential and commercial burglaries, grand thefts, petty thefts (items stolen valued at $150 to  $415):

  • 7900 block of Rancho Fanita Drive, 12:30 p.m. Oct. 1.
  • 9600 block of Mission Gorge Road at 3:47 p.m. on Sept. 27.
  • 9600 Mission Gorge Road at 4:34 p.m. at Sept. 25.
  • 9900 block of El Nopal at 6:29 p.m. on Sept. 26.
  • 10400 block of Mast Boulevard at 2:32 a.m. on Sept. 27.
  • 8800 block of Bushy Hill Drive at 12:38 p.m. on Sept. 26.

Vehicle burglaries/grand thefts:

  • 9900 block of Shoredale Drive 7:17 p.m. Sept. 26.
  • 10100 block of Palm Glen Drive at 10:46 p.m. on Sept. 26.

Vandalism reports:

  • Padre Dam Municipal Water District, North Magnolia Avenue at Princess Joann Road, 8:15 a.m. Sept. 30. Total loss estimated at $700, includes $350 damage to box and $350 in miscellaneous tools stolen.
  • Mast at Halberns boulevards at 3:40 p.m. on Sept. 27.
