Santee Deputy Recognized for Outstanding Stolen Vehicle Recovery in 2011

One of 30 officers honored for 105 arrests and 606 recovered cars worth nearly about $3,791,000.

Deputy Emerson Tucker, of the , was recently honored by the San Diego Auto Theft Advisory Committee for his exceptional job in recovering stolen cars in the 2011.

He was one of 30 law enforcement officers from throughout the county named Vehicle Theft Recovery Officers of the Year, and recognized for making a total of 105 arrests and recovering 606 stolen cars worth nearly about $3,791,000 in 2011.

Tucker and nine of the other officers were honored at the Prado at Balboa Park earlier in the month.
