The was closed Friday morning due to the glass that littered the lobby- glass from a broken front window and door.
The Library opened at about 12:45 p.m., all cleaned up and with plywood covering the broken windows.
No details about the vandalism are available, only that Library employees found the broken glass when they arrived for work this morning.
On a side note- Cheryl Cosart has replaced as Branch Manager for the Santee Library. She's been on the job for ten days. Keep an eye out for a story about the new branch manager coming soon.
